With each project, Enviro will perform a thorough visual inspection, followed by sample collection, sample analysis and provide a comprehensive report. Recommendations and a scope of work are also provided where applicable. Our reports are designed to be easily interpreted, and compliant with applicable regulations and industry standards.

Initial Mold Investigations include a visual inspection for signs of water intrusion, mold growth, and moisture assessment. Mold investigations determine the presence or non presence of mold. Mold air samples are key in determining if active mold growth is taking place, if mold contamination conditions exist, and what mold types and levels are present in the air at the time of sample collection. All collected mold samples are submitted to a qualified laboratory where they are identified and quantified.
Post Remediation Verifications (clearances) are performed to assess the stated completion of mold remediation. This type of assessment takes place after a certified mold remediation company has completed mold remediation of an area to document successful project completion.
Mold is a type of fungus responsible for the biodegradation of natural materials in our ecosystem. Typical symptoms of mold exposure include, coughing, nasal congestion, itchy eyes and shortness of breath. In rare instances, exposure can trigger asthma attacks and cause infections and lung hypersensitivity.

- Procedure 5 Contamination Assessment
Limited Surveys are performed prior to renovation activities, to ensure any suspect asbestos containing materials are handled safely and correctly. This limited type of survey is performed prior to planned renovations of specific building materials or areas within a structure.
Full Demolition Surveys include the identification of all accessible asbestos containing materials in a property prior to demolition.
Post Abatement Verifications (Clearances) are performed to assess the stated completion of asbestos abatement. This type of assessment takes place after a certified abatement company has completed asbestos abatement of an area to document successful project completion.
Procedure 5 Contamination Assessments occur when asbestos containing building materials have been improperly disturbed or damaged prior to testing. This SCAQMD requirement must document the extent of contamination and the specific work plan protocol to be implemented.
*SCAQMD Rule 1403 Clarifies… “There are no exceptions to this survey requirement based on the date of construction or the age of a facility.” This is because asbestos was never fully banned and continues to be imported from other countries where it is still widely used.
Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral fiber that was added to thousands of building materials for its thermal and tensile properties. Mesothelioma, asbestosis and lung cancer have all been directly linked with asbestos exposure.

Limited Surveys or a component specific lead-based paint surveys are limited to specific areas or building materials. This type of survey is performed prior to renovations of specific areas or components of a structure.
Full Surveys include the identification of all lead-based paint and/or coatings in a property prior to renovations of a structure.
Lead is a malleable metal that was added to paint to improve application, durability, and overall sheen. Exposure to lead can have a wide range of adverse effects on a child’s behavior and neurological development.
- Initial Investigation
- Post Remediation Verification (Clearances)
Initial Investigations are usually performed after black water sewage intrusion to determine if sewage indicator bacteria are present.
Post Remediation Verification (clearances) are performed to assess the stated completion of bacteria remediations. This type of assessment takes place after a certified remediation company has completed bacteria remediation of an area to document successful project completion.
Bacteria are unicellular organisms that have been found to thrive in the most extreme environments on earth. E coli bacterial infection can cause fever, nausea, vomiting, bloody diarrhea and severe stomach cramps.
